The Domtoren and the Pope

I love this little intersection of historic spots and lovely architecture, especially as dusk makes its way in and the setting sun turns the Domtoren a glorious rose gold. Now the spot also has the addition of the statue of Pope Adrian VI to help frame the whole scene.

  1. Hello,

I came upon your blog “A Flamingo in Utrecht” when I was searching for some expats forum for internationals living/working in Utrecht.

I’m a student at Utrecht University and I am conducting a research on mulitlingualism and the language facilities in Utrecht. For this purpose, I put up a survey that aims to find out how expats experience these facilities and how they see Utrecht as an international.

Since I still have shortage of respondents, I’m trying in any way possible to find more people that are willing to answer a few short questions!

The survey contains just 5 questions and will take no more than 2 minutes!

Hopefully you could help me fill in the survey and perhaps, if you know any other expats around the city, could forward it to them as well?

    The link to the survey:

    Hope to hear from you!

    Kind regards
    Sanne Boon
